Who is burning our forests?

The forests are dark and deep, and mysterious too, not only in India but elsewhere around the world. But Indian forests hold an uncanny and unmatched charm that can be characterized by successful encroachment by our fellow citizens, intruders, and mischievous entities.

And then they shout at the top of their voice when a tiger comes out and kill them or the land adjacent to their stay is rampaged by wild elephants. Whose fault is it, the animals, those who are pushed to the corner, or we are to be blamed for trying to evict them from their own land where they are born and grown-up.

Yet you cannot overlook the beauty of the Indian forest.

Anyways, I am getting carried away with the thought of “Live & Let Live!”

The world once was a mammoth Forest before encroachment by Humans.
Nonetheless, we still have reminisces of forests in India in the forms of protected national parks and forest zones.

Human has left no place on the earth where the jungle beasts can claim to be their own. We call it development.

We hear the Amazon is burning which is the largest forest area spreading across the continents. Why is it burning, because we have caused a massive disturbance to the serenity and tranquillity of our own forest land?

Are we he protector or the destroyer, plundering our own lifelines? - A point that needs to be pondered by the human race for a long time.
